Naturepedic Organic baby and toddler mattress review and giveaway

If you have multiple children than perhaps you are like me. I purchased one mattress with my daughter and with each additional child I just moved one to a regular bed and kept using the same crib mattress not even thinking twice if it was still good or what else is out there. I was thrilled at the opportunity to review an mattress for my third baby from naturepedic. I received an Organic baby crib mattress to review.

My no compromise Organic Cotton ultra crib and toddler mattress that I received in the traditional style was just slightly bigger than my old one and it fit so much better in our crib. I had no issues with my current sheets. My new mattress does not have any vinyl/PVC and polyurethane foam which releases questionable chemicals over time. This material have been eliminated and replaced with a luxurious cotton fabric with an easy to clean food grade 100% polyethylene. Polyethylene is an environmentally friendly plastic used throughout the food packaging industry for its purity and non-toxic properties. Why mess with mother nature and all of the wonderful materials it provides us with. The filling of the mattress is made of 100% organic cotton. This mattress is also hypoallergenic and no need for dust mire barrier covers. You can also sleep safe know the mattress is fire protected. Cotton does not burst into flames to start with but the mattress still has an exclusive fire protection system made out of Baking soda and hydrated silica.  I definitely think you need to think twice about buying conventional mattress. Invest in something that you can be proud to have your children sleep on and provide them with the cleanest and healthiest crib mattress available. I know we buy so much baby gear but as I have had more children I have realized there are only a handful of items that are so necessary and important and since babies and children spend a lot of their time sleeping I would say this should be the first on your list of priorities.
